我是張宴菁，別名小楓。我是一位在馬來西亞擁有執照的註冊藥劑師（Bpharm, Hons），藥劑師是我的職業。而我稱自己為一個兼職的音樂人。我从1998年开始歌曲創作，2005年开始接触电脑音乐。很高興能建立一個屬於自己的網站，并在這裡和大家分享我那雖不奇幻但充滿感恩的音樂旅程。

 

爸爸在我3歲的時候決定送我到離家不近的音樂學院學電子琴。依稀記得爸爸開車，在我和媽媽去學院。媽媽陪我進教室上課。那時年紀太小，連筆都握不穩，媽媽就握著我的小手，幫我抓穩鉛筆，在練習簿上畫上一個個豆芽符號。回想起來覺得爸爸媽媽真偉大，真的很疼愛我，為我付出了很多。我在2000年完成了8級的電子琴和樂理文憑，之後就專注于可也。我14歲開始創作，起源呢……是因為聽到了電視台播放的一首男女對唱，不記得歌名，只記得男歌手，因為他很帥，是我小時候的偶像，哈哈！那時覺得，我應該也可以寫出這樣的歌，甚至寫得更棒！於是開始了創作。當時寫歌只寫下歌詞，旋律是用腦記的。旋律完成之後，我會把歌詞寫進一本書裡，收藏好。雖說年紀小，學電子琴也蠻多年了。多虧電子琴的全面性，我很自然的就懂得怎麼玩bass，怎麼打鼓，怎麼玩chord，怎麼編曲。所以常常會用電子琴彈彈唱唱。我很少和周圍的朋友分享我的作品，知己難尋啊！哈哈。沒有同道中人，我只好把創作佔為己有，直到2004年我進入馬來西亞檳城理科大學就讀。

 

一切要從《理大遊子吟》開始說起。進入大學第一年，看到《理大遊子吟》即將舉辦一年一度的歌曲創作演繹會，很想去但不知道該怎麼買票。有一天，一個學姐敲了我的宿舍大門來宣傳活動，問我有沒有興趣去看演繹會，我毫無懸念的說：“有！”就這麼買了票。他鼓勵我每個星期五到“吟所”參與他們的立場活動。於是有天，趁著課餘空擋，個性內向的我獨自走上四樓的吟所，獨自坐在一個角落，看著其他人成群結隊的。有一個學長來和我聊天，并鼓勵我發表自己的作品。我在學期的最後一次例常活動中發表了我的作品《勇氣》（不是梁靜茹的勇氣！哈哈。。），受到了大家的掌聲鼓勵。我說：“我有去看演繹會，我覺得歌曲曲風不夠多元。”於是我就被開玩笑的指定為下一屆演繹會的“編歌小組”成員。我的音樂從此得以展現。很感謝另一位很厲害的學長。他在2005年的時候叫我怎麼用電腦做編曲和錄製音樂。電腦音樂對我來說是一個全新的東西。面對這個新玩意兒，我是無比興奮啊！因為一向只在腦袋裡走起的編曲，得以通過電腦軟件實實在在的編出來，這簡直就是美夢成真。2006年，我在另一位學長的推薦下，正式簽約成為Like Music 立刻音乐的作者。很感謝一直以來給我許多音樂上的啟發和靈感的學長學姐們。謝謝所有一直支持我和愛我的朋友們，學長學姐們，還有學弟學妹們，謝謝你們到現在都還一直喜歡我在演繹會所發表的歌曲。也很感謝老闆瑞業，還有所有喜歡我的音樂的朋友。我對音樂的愛將永不結束。

I am Chong Yan Jing, Kaede. I am a registered pharmacist (BPharm, Hons) in Malaysia. And I call myself as a part-time 'musician'. I started composing songs since year 1998. I've been exposed to music arrangement and demo production since year 2005. It's great to have my own website here, sharing my simple music journey with you.

I learnt organ since 3 years old. My dad brought me to a music school, learning with other children. My mum accompanied me in the class, grabbing my hand to hold a pen firmly and 'drew' the music notes. I completed my Grade 8 organ practical and theory at year 2000 and I focused on my study after this. I started to compose songs at the age of 14. At that time,  I composed by just writing the lyrics on papers. When it was done with melody, I'll write the lyrics nicely into a book. I did not have recorder at that time. I memorized all the melodies. I would arrange the songs using my organ. I rarely share those songs with my friends. I kept it as my very own hobby until I entered University of Science, Malaysia (USM) at year 2004.

 

I accidentally came across a music association named 'The Wanderers Association'. There will be a music concert organized by them soon. I was interested but had no idea on how to get the ticket. A senior knocked my hostel door to promote the concert. I bought the ticket from her. She encouraged me to join their weekly activity. I went up by myself and yet, I was a totally introvert girl, quietly sitting at a corner alone. There was another senior approaching me, talking to me, and encouraged me to present my song. I did it at the last activity of the semester. People startled. And I was designated to be the 'song arrangement team' for next year concert. My music talent sparkled since then. Thanks to a great senior who introduced computer music production to me at year 2005. That was totally new to me. I felt excited as all my arrangement which played in my head previously could be created by music software. My dreams came true. At year 2006, I became an official song composer of LIKE Music Company until now. Thanks to all seniors who inspired me a lot in song composing and arrangement. Thanks to all my friends, seniors and juniors who support me and love me all the way until now. Thanks to my boss (Ruiye) and all people who likes my music. My love to music will never end.

And lastly, thanks to my dad and mum for supporting me in my music journey. I love you.
